Since you've relegated this discussion to the trump card of subjectivity (especially by using knowledge of films I have liked or disliked), I don't think there is any point me saying more. especially since everyone has read what I've written. Everything is subjective so lets just leave it at that.

The only reason I have not seen Equilibrium is coz the movies presentation is soo much similar to The Matrix, im sure that the story might be different but the initial presentation of the movie should also appeal to you, which again goes back to "subjectivity".

I had the exact same reason as Kaytee, but after the amount Shariq has raved about Bale, Guntaka and the movie in general, I'm curious to see it now.

You guys should see it. I honestly think the comparison to Matrix is very unfair. Comparison to stories like Brave New World and Fahrenheit 451 is a valid comparison, but I dont think that plays unfairly on Equilibrium's part.

I'd love if KT & Sulphurhead watch it, and come back to us with what you think. Shariq, myself, and Fizz have said our parts, so lets see what others think if they watch it now!

Actually, I want to see this film again myself. Its been a few years and I've dismissed it so strongly since then that I have no urge to see it. My opinion about it is unlikely to change, that I am sure of, but I might come to appreciate it for "trying" a little better.

I also want to revisit it but only because talking about it makes me miss it!

"Australian Psycho" would make more sense if she actually spoke in her native Aussie slang, instead of her faux American....but you could argue it wouldn't then fit the satirical tone aimed for.
